Safe-Pak Shipping Demystified

What exactly are Safe-Paks?

Safe-Paks are our free, custom-designed shipping kits for transporting your valuables safely and securely through the US Postal Service. Each contains the following:

• Customer inventory and receipt form
• One shipping box (not included when “own box” is selected in Safe-Pak request)
• Pre-addressed US Postal Service registered mail receipt
• US Postal Service registered mail tracking label
• Pre-addressed mailing label from you to us

Are Safe-Pak boxes really safe?

You bet. Our free Safe-Pak boxes are made of heavy, durable materials and specifically designed to protect a vast range of precious items includingdiamond jewelry. Safe-Pak boxes come in two sizes:

• Standard: 10” long x 5” wide x 1” deep (suggested for smaller items like diamonds, pins, rings, bracelets, and watches)
• Large: 7 ½” long x 5” wide x 3” deep (best for larger items such as watches in their original boxes or sending several substantial pieces together)

Where do tracking labels and insurance fit in?

Putting your valuables in the mail should never mean losing control. That’s why your Safe-Pak includes a pre-addressed US Postal Service registered mail receipt and registered mail tracking label. By simply filling in the registered mail receipt, you both insure your items and register their tracking number through the US Postal Service. This enables you to track your valuables from the moment you mail them to the moment they reach us. What’s more, we’ll reimburse your costs when webuy your jewelry items!
